Afterwards, she joined a European insurtech startup, leading several projects to accelerate growth, such as building a digital claims declaration solution and launching new product lines.

Martim has joined Costa Duarte in 2009 following over 4 years working in London for an international insurance broker and his role is mainly focused on advising and servicing multinational companies with operations in Portugal and abroad assuring the management and coordination of the insurance programmes in several countries in close partnership with Costa Duarte’s local preferred partners.

Over the last 15 years of experience in the business he has acquired expertise in insurances related to construction and engineering projects.

Martim is fluent in English, Spanish and has good knowledge of French.

Miguel Costa Duarte

Chairman

Miguel represents the third generation of the family, which has been involved in the insurance sector since 1921.

Miguel is the company’s Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the areas of Corporate, where he has played an active role in the implementation and management of insurance programmes, in the financial, industrial, communication and tourism sectors.

Rodrigo Castro Pereira

Rodrigo entered the insurance business in 1992, and is Director of the International Department, heading a team responsible for managing and monitoring insurance programmes for multinational clients.
